Electrical transmission and electrical distribution products manufacturer needs senior level sales experts for regions around California, Chicago, Kansas City, Ohio, and Virginia. These are fully remote positions that will require travel in a selected region. It would be great if you live in one of these regions.
The client wants to find people with well-established connections with utility companies, for the purpose of selling hardware and engineering services.
A generous salary plus bonus is available, with NO CAP on possible earnings. Excellent benefits.
Your responsibility will be to drive sales, develop and achieve sales goals, participate in selecting and developing channel partners.
Work directly with utility companies, contractors, and EPC companies to promote products and achieve sales.
Develop, monitor, and train channel partners in company products and services.
Partner with customers to identify customer requirements.
Achieve approved vendor status at key accounts.
Develop sales strategies and achieve financial objectives.
Respond to requests for proposals (RFP), process quotations, track bids.
Study competitor products and become a product evangelist for the company.
Prepare sales presentations and reports.
Develop sales forecasts, analyze market trends, and give voice of the customer feedback.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field
At least five years’ experience with electrical transmission and electrical distribution products.
In-depth knowledge of the T&D industry, customers, and local markets.
At least five years’ experience in outside sales, especially to utility companies, contractors and EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) companies.
Should have some experience overseeing third party channel partners.
Must have a valid driver’s license. Must be willing to travel at least 50% of the time.
