Motion Graphic Designer

As a Motion Graphic Designer on our Brand Design Studio team, you'll create compelling motion, video, and digital communications that bring our brand design system to life. You will produce high-impact graphic animations that elevate our visual storytelling across platforms. This role is ideal for someone with a passion for motion design who excels at crafting short videos, dynamic social clips, infographics, and other animated assets using Adobe After Effects. Your work will enhance the visual identity of our brand across all platforms and engage our audience in meaningful ways. The ideal candidate is a conceptual thinker, storyteller, and detail-oriented animator who can bring ideas to life in new and inspiring ways.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Create Compelling Motion Graphics: Design and produce high-quality motion graphics for video platforms, social media, presentations, events, and campaigns.
  • Animate Infographics: Transform complex information into visually appealing and easily understandable animated infographics.
  • Expand Brand Design System: Explore and define how our design system translates into motion, establishing rules and guidelines for brand animations.
  • Collaborate Across Teams: Partner with marketing, product, and other creative teams to conceptualize and execute impactful motion graphics projects.
  • Stay Ahead of Trends: Keep up-to-date with the latest motion design techniques, tools, and trends to bring fresh and innovative ideas to the team.
  • Deliver Excellence: Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring exceptional quality and timely delivery.
  • Support Comprehensive Brand Experiences: Work across marketing channels, web, email, and beyond to ensure cohesive branded experiences.


Qualifications:
  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Motion Design, Graphic Design, Animation, or a related field—or equivalent professional experience.
  • Experience: 3-5+ years of professional experience in motion design, supported by a strong portfolio showcasing outstanding animations for social media, infographics, and brand storytelling.
  • Technical Proficiency: Advanced skills in Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, Figma, with working knowledge of other Adobe Creative Suite tools like Photoshop and Illustrator.
  • Core Skills: Strong understanding of animation principles, typography, and visual storytelling as well as creating and editing video content.
  • Collaboration: Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work seamlessly within a team environment.
  • Organization: Strong organizational and time-management skills to effectively juggle multiple projects and meet deadlines.


Nice-to-Have Skills:
  • Sound Design Capabilities: Experience in creating and integrating sound effects or audio elements to enhance motion graphics and videos. Proficiency in audio editing software such as Adobe Audition, Logic Pro, or similar tools is a plus. An understanding of how sound can complement visuals to create a cohesive and engaging storytelling experience is highly desirable.
  • 3D Animation Tools: Experience with software like Cinema 4D or Blender.
  • Video Editing Expertise: Familiarity with Adobe Premiere Pro and Canva.
  • Interactive Design: Knowledge of UX/UI design and interactive animation.


The United States new hire base salary target ranges for this full-time position are:


Zone A: $85,320 -$110,910  + equity + benefits

Zone B: $93,852 - $122,001  + equity + benefits

Zone C: $102,384 - $133,092   + equity + benefits

Zone D: $110,916 - $144,183 + equity + benefits


This range reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for candidates based on their respective Zone. Below is additional information on Included Health's commitment to maintaining transparent and equitable compensation practices across our distinct geographic zones.


Starting base salary for the successful candidate will depend on several job-related factors, unique to each candidate, which may include, but not limited to, education; training; skill set; years and depth of experience; certifications and licensure; business needs; internal peer equity; organizational considerations; and alignment with geographic and market data. Compensation structures and ranges are tailored to each zone's unique market conditions to ensure that all employees receive fair and competitive compensation based on their roles and locations. In addition to receiving a competitive base salary, the compensation package may include, depending on the role, the following:
