SQL Scripter
InfyStrat is on the lookout for a detail-oriented SQL Scripter to join our data management team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, writing, and optimizing SQL scripts that support our data operations and ensure data integrity across our systems. You will work closely with data analysts, developers, and other stakeholders to analyze requirements and produce high-quality database scripts that meet the needs of the business. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in SQL programming, a strong understanding of relational databases, and a commitment to delivering efficient and effective solutions. Responsibilities
- Write and optimize SQL scripts for data extraction, transformation, and loading operations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements for data-related projects.
- Ensure data quality and integrity through effective testing and validation of SQL scripts.
- Develop and maintain documentation for scripts and procedures.
- Monitor database performance and suggest improvements for efficiency.
- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to peers on best practices.
- Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in SQL technologies.
- Contract Duration: 2-3 months
- 5+ years of experience in database administration or data engineering roles with a strong focus on data migration.
- Hands-on experience with RDBMS: Oracle, MySQL
- Proven experience in large-scale migrations involving heterogeneous platforms.
- Strong proficiency in API Mapping, SQL, PL/SQL/T-SQL, stored procedures, and data modelling.
- Familiarity in script automation, KPI Generation and Tracking of Script Performance.
- Experience with scripting (Python, Shell, PowerShell) for automation of migration tasks.
- Understanding of cloud-native database services (e.g.Azure SQL).
