The successful candidate will provide analytical and credit underwriting expertise to support the loan origination and portfolio monitoring efforts of the Solar Loan Program.Key DutiesReview and analyze financial statements, credit ratings, financial models, both for existing clients and on new commercial solar financing opportunitiesEstablish and maintain contact with clients throughout the due diligence process to obtain/provide information and advice, conduct interviews and relay information regarding the process and client's requirementsEvaluate credit proposals and applications, conduct due diligence and make written credit recommendations to managementAssist in documenting new financing transactionsResponsible for monitoring of borrowers' financial condition as required by the loan agreementAssist in the identification and analysis of potential business transactions and assist in the preparation of presentations/pitchesProvide support for special projects and other functions as requestedEssential Qualifications:3 5 years financial analysis and/or credit experienceBachelor Degree in business or finance or equivalent experienceStrong technical, computational and quantitative skillsAbility to build, review and maintain complex cash flow forecasting models with an excellent understanding of lending financial concepts and ratiosUnderstanding of financial statements, corporate finance theories and practices, credit and risk principles, accounting, economics and statistics as well as strong research skillsExcellent interpersonal, presentation, oral and written communication skills and an ability to explain complicated financial conceptsDemonstrated job commitment including a willingness to work under deadlines in a high-volume, fast-paced, results-driven environment with flexibility and adaptability in order to meet client requirementsProven ability to pay close attention to detail, multi-task and work collaboratively within a team under tight deadlinesWell-developed organizational and time management skills in order to respond to shifting priorities on several simultaneous projectsSuperior proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPointDesired Qualifications:Previous US power and renewables experiencePrior investment/corporate banking work experienceProject Finance experience/knowledgeUnderstanding of New Jersey's solar energy market and familiarity with local utility solar financing programs, CMMS, OMS and other client's applications.QualificationsMust have 4 year degree.Additional InformationThanksWarm RegardsHarshad(732) 429 1922
