As our chosen Maintenance Technician, every day you will assist with the managing and coordinating of persons, activities and available resources to accomplish property objectives, perform property maintenance (interior & exterior) or repairs which may include HVAC, plumbing, electrical, keys and locks, appliances, lighting systems, carpentry, etc. Perform duties to turn apartments and ensure that move-in standards are met, coordinate preventive maintenance according to established guidelines and schedules. Maintain adequate maintenance supply inventory by selecting and ordering supplies and monitoring maintenance supply budget. Schedule, coordinate and supervise work of outside vendors. Maintain compliance and coordination with local, state, property and company safety regulations as well as police, fire and utility inspectors. Blaisdell (151 units) is a beautiful, apartment community in Minneapolis, MN and we want YOU to be our Maintenance Technician!

To thrive in this role:

1+ years prior experience as a Maintenance Technician on a multi-family apartment community of 100+ units

Experience and knowledge of plumbing, HVAC, and appliance repair

Employees must supply their own hand tools and must possess knowledge and skills in the safe use and maintenance of hand tools, power tools, mechanical equipment and measuring devices.

Superior customer service, attention to detail, and time management skills

Dynamic self-starter who enjoys working with others and excels in a faced paced team-oriented environment.

Must have valid driver's license and the ability to respond to on-call emergencies as needed and participate in on-call rotations

Bonus Skills:

Experience with Yardi

Basic computer skills

Understanding of local building codes and regulations
