Role Summary

Rowan is seeking an experienced Asset Manager to oversee the management of hyperscale data center campus environments, ensuring optimal performance, sustainability, and customer satisfaction. This role demands a results-driven leader with a proven track record in managing teams, improving processes, and driving operational excellence in a high-performing environment.
The ideal candidate will have experience in Data Center Management, an aptitude for building strong internal and external relationships, and a passion for sustainability. This role offers the opportunity to innovate, lead, and make a meaningful impact in the fast-evolving data center industry.
Essential Responsibilities
Environmental Health and Safety
Promote a strong health and safety culture within the organization and comply with security protocols
Customer Relationship Management
Manage and develop relationships with key hyperscale data center customers, providing technical expertise and leadership
Ensure highest levels of performance and customer satisfaction through proactive
engagement and problem-solving
Financial Management
Develop, monitor, and manage budgets, variance reports, and asset performance
financials
Ensure financial goals align with operational and customer objectives
Operational Excellence
Maintain and optimize the Management of existing Rowan-developed data centers
Lead the development and onboarding of new data centers to achieve seamless
integration and operational readiness.
Create and maintain Financial and Sustainable metrics to identify improvement
opportunities and drive positive changes
Team Leadership
Build, manage, and mentor a high-performing team of professionals
Demonstrate success in managing both high- and low-performing employees and
fostering a collaborative, productive work environment
Provide conflict resolution and performance management to ensure team success
Vendor and Contractor Management
Establish and maintain productive relationships with external vendors, contractors,
and service providers
Manage vendor performance and resolve conflicts to ensure alignment with Rowan’s operational standards
Sustainability and Compliance
Ensure data center operations adhere to and exceed sustainability standards
established by Rowan for the campus
Process and Systems Improvement
Identify, refine, and implement process improvements for operational efficiency
Apply best practices in incident management, change management, and fault
management
Leverage technology systems such as Yardi and Procore for operational excellence
Education, Skills, and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, engineering, or a related field
7+ years of relevant asset management experience managing large-scale customers
7+ years of experience in asset management or operations for hyperscale data center users or similar roles
3+ years of experience building and managing high-performing teams
Proven expertise in incident, vendor, and process management
Strong organizational and detail-oriented skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Demonstrated success in delivering complex projects on time and within budget
Security and health & safety awareness
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in the technology infrastructure or renewable energy sectors
Knowledge of data center construction and operations
Passion for sustainability and innovation in the data center industry
