Bookkeeper Team Leader (Accountant)

As a Bookkeeper Team Leader, your key responsibilities will include leading and mentoring the bookkeeping team, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all bookkeeping tasks, identifying training needs, and maintaining a productive work environment. You'll be in charge of overseeing daily operations, managing hiring and performance reviews, and keeping up with the latest accounting and tax regulations to ensure compliance and operational efficiency.

To qualify for the Bookkeeper Team Leader position, you should have a strong educational background, including at least a Matric certificate with a focus on maths and accounting, as well as a BAcc or equivalent qualification (or you should be currently studying). We require a minimum of 1–2 years in a supervisory role within a bookkeeping practice, complemented by at least 3 years of bookkeeping experience in an accounting environment.
