As an Airfield Electrical Engineer within our Aviation group supporting our Houston, TX office you will have the chance to work on Aviation projects alongside our Land Development group. Here's What You'll Do: - Contribute to coordinating project assignments with other engineers and technicians from various discipline groups - Research design options and document findings - Attend meetings with clients and interacting with several key players in the industry #LI-remote'- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering - Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the industry post graduate - Strong analytical, conceptual, and organizational skills. - Ability to effectively interface with all levels of personnel and management. - Ability to work and thrive in a team environment. - Strong problem-solving skills. - Ability to self-motivate and work productively without supervision. - Working knowledge of Word and Excel Ideally, You’ll Also Have: - Registration as a Professional Engineer, or the ability to successfully apply within 6 months of appointment for the role. - Knowledge of AutoCAD and Revit - Knowledge of AGi32 or Visual Lighting Software - Knowledge of FAA Advisory Circulars - Familiarity with airfield lighting distribution, FAA NAVAIDS, power distribution systems, sustainability initiatives, telecommunication systems, emergency power or mission-critical systems - Experience utilizing SKM and ETAP and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.Jacobs is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
