This is a permanent, full-time position that offers the opportunity to work on a variety of challenging and innovative projects. The successful candidate will lead a team of engineers and technicians to ensure the design, development, and implementation of high-quality structural systems that meet our clients' needs and comply with national and international standards.ResponsibilitiesAs a Lead Structural Engineer, your key responsibilities will include• Leading a team of structural engineers and technicians in the design, development, and implementation of various structural systems.• Applying knowledge of national design codes, AISC, ASCE, and welding in the design and development of structural systems.• Reviewing and approving structural designs and calculations prepared by team members.• Coordinating with other departments and stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.• Providing technical guidance and mentoring to junior engineers and technicians.• Ensuring that all designs and developments comply with relevant safety standards and regulations.• Conducting site inspections and structural assessments as required.• Preparing and presenting technical reports and proposals to clients and stakeholders.• Continually improving and updating knowledge and skills in line with industry developments.QualificationsThe ideal candidate for the Lead Structural Engineer position should possess the following qualifications• A Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
