We were founded in the United States out of Cleveland OH.Why join us?Continued growth both domestically and internationallyCompetitive Salary and BenefitsGenerous PTOLow turnoverInternal Growth OpportunitiesJob DetailsResponsibilities• The Plant Controller will be responsible for the adherence to financial policies and ICRF controls, improving internal business processes to support our company’s growth/profitability model• The Plant Controller provides financial analyses and recommendations to ensure the site is aligned to strategic objectives; and is a proactive business partner/advisor, aiding the decision-making process of management on corrective actions/countermeasures, and enforcing ownership & accountability• Lead the annual forecast, budget, plan process at the site, providing accurate explanations of significant variances, including analysis of actual vs projected• Focus on timely month-end results/reporting with a keen eye on strategic planning to ensure the business is growing profitability• Lead the processes of the month-end close• Prepare, approve general entries/reconciliations (as needed/required),• Ensure accuracy/integrity of the balance sheet (quality of working capital, changes in fixed assets, etc.)• Lead the annual standard cost development process for the site to ensure transparency of cost/margin• Ensure all plant accounting activities comply with the processes outlined in the ICRF, IFRS, HPS/LS policies, and sound business practices• Lead the annual completion of the ICRF gap analysis & ensure the execution of action plans, adherence - Segregation of Duties, system/access controls are in place• Assess current accounting processes, offering recommendations for improvement, and implementing new innovative processes• Support LS & Operations Controller with the AD HOC requests, annual plan, budget & standard cost development process• Proactively research issues – anticipating opportunities and providing answers & insight to key questions before they are asked• Co-manage along with the project manager the capital process & provide guidance/assistance• Creation of forward-looking financial models and “what-if” modeling capabilities, cost/benefit, margin impact (make vs. buy, etc. enhancing the decision-making processQualifications• Former Cost & Plant Accounting experience• A clear thinker with proven technical skills in a manufacturing environment.• Ability to work under pressure and work with all levels of management and employees.• Ethical and credible, with ability to develop and maintain effective control mechanisms.• Flexible approach and self-motivated with strong team spirit.Interested in hearing more?
