About the Role We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Operations Manager to lead our Weld Kitting team on 2nd shift. Responsibilities • Lead by Example: Set a high standard for safety, quality, and productivity within your team, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures. • Mentor and Develop: Coach, mentor, and facilitate training for employees in functional areas of responsibility, providing feedback and guidance to ensure success.• Improve Processes: Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and implement kaizen initiatives, driving TPS processes and activities forward.• Assign and Monitor Work: Assign daily work assignments, monitor progress, and observe tasks to ensure standards are met, maintaining standardized work documentation.• Problem-Solving: Use problem-solving techniques to address issues or concerns within your functional area, escalating to supervisors or managers as needed.• Morale and Training: Monitor employee morale, make recommendations, and facilitate on-the-job and other specified training to ensure all employees are well-trained and equipped for success.About the TeamYou will be part of a dynamic team at The Raymond Corporation, where innovation, growth, and success thrive.
