Responsibilities

The Administrative Supervisor provides leadership to administrative and nursing staff working with the SBU.  The positions reports to the Clinic Administrator or Ambulatory Care Director.  The Administrative Supervisor, along with the Clinic Administrator or Ambulatory Care Director is responsible for assuring high quality administrative service to Kelsey-Seybold patients.  The position is responsible for implementing standards, policies and procedures formulated and recommended by Kelsey-Seybold Clinic.  The position directly supervises administrative staff in small clinics where the Clinic Administrator has responsibility for more than one SBU.  In very large clinics (e.g. West and The Main Campus), the Administrative Supervisor may supervise two or more coordinators or large administrative support departments.

Salary Range: $60,306 - $74,496 (Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc.)

Education


Required: High School diploma or equivalent


Preferred: Bachelor Degree in a related field. 


Experience


Required: 4+ years medical office experience to include the following: face-to-face customer service, cash 

 

handling, patient registration, appt scheduling, medical billing, charge entry/capture, experience & knowledge 

 

of managed care. 

 

 1+ years of medical office supervisory experience.

 

Or

 

4+ yrs of KSC Medical Office experience in a Coordinator or Leadership capacity


Preferred: 5+ years of the following; medical insurance/managed care, cash handling, cash close out, and 

 

direct face-to-face customer service experience.
