We are looking for a Project Manager to join our Insurance Operation team. You will assist in the project management of multiple Automation Team projects with a variety of teams focusing on developing timelines, setting expectations, communication, follow-up, managing risks, project retrospectives, and leadership. You’ll be responsible for assisting with Agile meetings, including backlog refinement, sprint planning and sprint reviews, as well as daily stands.
Working with team members and various stakeholders at all levels across the organization
Conducting alignment sessions with the business partners, data counterparts, and internal teams
Monitoring progress and delays of projects while attaining and redirecting resources when applicable
Ensuring timelines are up to date and roadblocks are addressed and communicated to key stakeholders
Proactively identify and implement process improvements to solve issues and increase the productivity of our Automation team
Proactively and diplomatically address or drive issue resolution
Providing input into strategy and transformation planning to forecast roadblocks and provide suggestions to overcome
Updating documentation including, but not limited to, Automation Team updates and executive monthly/quarterly updates
3+ years of working experience in a project coordination or project management role
Experience owning process management or process improvement projects
Ability to collaborate effectively, working for a win-win while inspiring others to do the same
A passion for customer feedback and research with strong attention to detail
An eye for great products and willingness to advocate for new features with qualitative and quantitative reasoning
Ability to communicate with empathy and clarity
Ability to effectively communicate with engineers about technical features and product architecture
Comfort using project/task-management tools like Jira
Ability to engage in conflict management
Experience supporting software engineering or analytics teams
Experience working with Agile products and engineering teams in startup and/or rapid-growth environments/Agile or Scrum certifications like CSM, PMP, etc.
Experience in the P&C industry
