Your mission:
As a key member of our dynamic Sales team, you’ll play a key role in driving revenue growth through the sale of carbon credits and build impactful partnerships with companies seeking to meet their climate goals.

Please note that proficiency in both written and spoken German and English is a requirement for this role. Plus, you need to be a resident and based in Germany.
Your responsibilities:
Drive B2B sales by identifying and closing high-value carbon credit deals with corporates, food retailers, and manufacturers.
Build and maintain strong client relationships, providing expert guidance on carbon credit pricing, risk mitigation, and sustainability strategies.
Stay updated on carbon market trends, pricing, and regulations (SBTi, GHG Protocol, Verra) to inform sales strategies.
Work closely with finance, certification, product, and marketing teams to align carbon credit sales with business objectives.
Monitor key sales metrics, track market trends, and gather client feedback to optimise sales performance.
Represent Klim at industry events, sustainability forums, and conferences to expand networks and generate leads.
Your profile:
Proven track record of success in B2B sales roles and experience in fast-paced environments (startups, management consulting, investment banking).
You know how to craft tailored solutions, articulate the strategic value of carbon credits to different industries, and position offerings as part of a client’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) strategies.
You excel at building and maintaining long-term partnerships, with strong networking and relationship-building skills.
Empathetic, people-oriented, and skilled at building relationships with different personality types.
You are clear, concise, and persuasive, with strong PowerPoint presentation skills.
Languages: You are proficient in written and spoken German and English.
You have a strong bias for action and execution. You explore new opportunities and make sound decisions to drive the company forward.
A big plus, you have knowledge of Carbon Markets and Environmental Policy: You have a solid understanding of global carbon pricing mechanisms, cap-and-trade systems, voluntary and compliance markets, and the regulatory landscape affecting carbon credits.
