Therefore, we are currently seeking an ambitious and entrepreneurial leader to join our Microsoft Data & Innovation team to support our growth. The Data & Innovation team has a strong focus on data and innovation, recognizing their crucial role in our clients' transformations, leveraging products like Fabric, Azure Data Services, Power Platform and others.

The team also undertakes many social activities together, such as breakfast, lunch and dinner sessions or events with sporting activities and various knowledge building activities like hackathons and experiments. As a global Microsoft partner we often take part in Microsoft private previews on their future product releases which puts us in the forefront of technology. The diverse team now holds more than 17+ different nationalities and is growing!

Job Description

In collaboration with your team and the client, you ensure that the client receives the best possible solution for their questions and challenges. Based on your preferences, we’ll look for suitable projects and clients that match you best. The projects primarily focus on Business Transformation, Digitalization, and Innovation in relation to Microsoft technology. At KPMG, you often work in multidisciplinary teams with colleagues from other departments. This not only challenges you in your own field of expertise but also allows you to combine different areas of expertise to develop solutions that truly make a difference.

  • Lead a group of high-performing Microsoft Data & Innovation professionals (on-shore and off-shore) to ensure quality, accuracy, and completeness of deliverables for our trusted clients. This also includes critical strategic staffing, budgeting, and career development activities.
  • Advocate innovation both within the firm and with clients, taking a role in developing team members to their full potential as well as promoting collaboration across teams. You are confident in working along with others to win in client situations and deliver sustainable outcomes.
  • Partner strategically with senior leadership within the firm (Markets and industry leads, Partners, Directors) to understand business needs and translate them into Microsoft Data Platform requirements.
  • Foster and maintain relationships with executive leadership in the KPMG network and at Microsoft, to ensure strategic growth and collaboration. Hold a frontrunner position to enable your team to have insight into the product roadmap and participate on product steering committee boards; maintain strong relationships within Microsoft field sales teams.

Qualifications

  • Working experience with a Big4 consultancy or similar global professional services firm. You combine this with experience with a confident and self-reliant style of working.
  • Minimum eight years of recent experience in defining business analytic capabilities specifically to the Microsoft (data) Platform, breaking them down into actionable components; work cross-functionally to deliver value as well as strong analytical, creative problem-solving, and decision-making skills; minimum five years of recent experience related to data analysis, data science, or applied analytics, preferably related to consulting, and working knowledge of dashboard and data visualization techniques for impactful storytelling.
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university required; Master of Business Administration from an accredited college/university and/or certifications are preferred.
  • Experience identifying use case opportunities for Microsoft Data Platform (Synapse,Fabric), building use cases to prove out value and justify investments.
  • Ability to oversee daily operations of our Microsoft Data & Innovation team in collaboration with (y)our leadership team.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting, managing various stakeholders and use cases concurrently across diverse industries and KPMG service portfolios.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills; demonstrated ability to develop strong relationships with and effectively communicate complex ideas to technical and non-technical audiences across all levels of the organization.
