Laboratory Engineering Specialist

Oasis Systems has an exciting opportunity for a Laboratory Engineering Specialist located at Kennedy Space Center in Merritt Island, FL.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma or General Equivalence Diploma (GED) and completion of related technical training curriculum.
• 1 years of related experience 0 years' experience with completed education requirements or 4 years relevant experience in lieu of Bachelor's degree

SECURITY CLEARANCE: (U.S. Citizenship is required for all applicants)

EDUCATION: High school diploma or General Equivalence Diploma (GED) and completion of related technical training curriculum.
CERTIFICATIONS:
EXPERIENCE LEVEL: Experienced (Non-Manager)

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Prepare intermediate and depot maintenance manuals and technical operating procedures for processing and testing of components and systems.
• Generate work order authorizations for specific tasks or special projects that are considered unique.
• Disposition written in-process discrepancies related to the processing or testing of items that does not require specification changes.
• Assist in the procurement of parts required for the refurbishment of components. Provide drafting assistance as required.
