Job Summary:


We are seeking a skilled Drafter with extensive experience in SolidWorks to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in drafting, 3D modeling, and technical drawings. You will collaborate with engineers and designers to create accurate and detailed designs for manufacturing and production purposes. This is a 30 days contract with potential extension to 90 days.


Responsibilities:
  • Create detailed 2D and 3D models and technical drawings using SolidWorks software.
  • Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and other team members to develop accurate and functional designs.
  • Revise existing drawings and models based on engineering changes or updates to project specifications.
  • Prepare Bill of Materials (BOM) and other supporting documentation for design projects.
  • Ensure that all designs comply with industry standards and client specifications.
  • Perform tolerance analysis, and design for manufacturability (DFM) to ensure the quality and feasibility of designs.
  • Maintain organized records of all design files, drawings, and revisions.
  • Assist in creating assembly instructions and process documentation for manufacturing teams.
  • Participate in design reviews and provide input for continuous improvement initiatives.
