Are you looking to join a fast paced innovative and customer focused technical organization?

The Technical Engineer is responsible to maintain and manage equipment and process lifecycle as well as mange sustainability of site Calibration and Preventative Maintenance programs in coordination with a dynamic mix of internal and external service providers to ensure 100% of equipment up time. This position works independently to resolve all assigned process and equipment technical issues.

This position is part of Technical Operation & Engineering organization and is based in Carlsbad, CA.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Own and lead equipment lifecycle management activities including coordination of site equipment CALs and PMs execution.
• Actively participates in daily management to escalate and resolve equipment issues in a timely manner to minimize equipment downtime; working independently and in a team environment, as the situation dictates.
• Works proactively to prevent equipment failure: Tracks and trends key metrics related to equipment uptime to report to the team and applies methodologies to identify root cause and resolve issues with no impact to daily planned manufacturing operations.
• Writes and executes equipment and process validations (IQ/OQ/PQ) and may perform other assigned duties as required.
• Works safely and to comply with the company’s health, safety and environmental (HSE) policies and procedures.

The essential requirements of the job include:

• A degree (Associates/Bachelors) in Engineering or Scientific discipline with minimum 2 years of experience with troubleshooting of equipment in engineering or manufacturing sciences.
• Demonstrated equipment troubleshooting and familiar with root-cause analysis principles.
• Ability to manage & prioritize multiple tasks and sense of urgency.
• Ability to troubleshoot manufacturing and QC equipment lifecycle and performance issues.
• Ability to communicate effectively to efficiently allocate work in cross-functional organization.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• Ability to troubleshoot and follow problem-solving procedures.
• Experience with electrical & mechanical technology and follow all required safety protocols.
• Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.

The salary range OR the hourly range for this role is 70,400 – 96,800 USD Annual. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
