Lead Product Manager - Consumer Product (Remote - USA)

SeatGeek believes live events are powerful experiences that unite humans. With our technological savvy and fan-first attitude we’re simplifying and modernizing the ticketing industry.

By catering to both consumers and enterprises, we’re powering a new, open entertainment ecosystem where fans have effortless access to experiences, and teams, venues, and shows have seamless access to their audiences. Because everyone should expect more from ticketing.

We are looking for an experienced Product Manager (open to varying levels of experience) to join SeatGeek’s Consumer Product team to help shape and execute our product strategy and roadmap. SeatGeek is a product-centric organization that prides itself on beating industry competitors through a superior user experience (think: not Ticketmaster). Our product culture is defined by our high quality bar, a “ship early and often” mindset, and a transparent and autonomous environment.

As a Lead Product Manager at SeatGeek, you'll become an integral part of our Product team, taking complete ownership over a vertical of the SeatGeek product. You’ll collaborate with product and business leaders to set product strategies that advance our business goals; define, execute, and deliver on roadmaps that ladder up to those goals; measure and monitor product health metrics and improve our KPIs over time; and be an advocate for and ambassador of the Product team and your product vertical to the rest of the company, keeping stakeholders aligned and informed.

What you’ll do

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, developing a firm understanding of their needs, dependencies, and priorities
  • Partner with research, design, and engineering to investigate problem and opportunity spaces and craft elegant and feasible solutions
  • Define product strategies that help accomplish established company and team goals
  • Make product decisions backed by quantitative and qualitative data, mixed with an innate sense for what will delight our users
  • Clearly and proactively communicate project updates to all stakeholders, and take responsibility for deadlines and deliverables
  • Provide mentorship to other product team members
  • Suggest and implement process improvements to improve product planning and development
  • Advocate for and act as an ambassador to the rest of the company for an owned product vertical, communicating work and celebrating wins

What you have

  • 6-8 years of relevant product experience with progressive levels of responsibility
  • Excellent communication (written + verbal) skills and ability to build genuine, collaborative relationships throughout all levels of the org
  • Demonstrated experience managing complex and cross-functional initiatives including planning, execution, and delivery
  • Proven ability of influencing others through both direct and indirect authority and leadership
  • Strong decision making skills with a balanced view of data, domain expertise, and gut instinct
  • High degree of technical literacy, data fluency, and a detail-oriented eye for quality

Perks

  • Equity stake
  • Flexible work environment, allowing you to work as many days a week in the office as you’d like or 100% remotely
  • A WFH stipend to support your home office setup
  • Flexible PTO
  • Up to 16 weeks of paid family leave
  • 401(k) matching program
  • Health, vision, dental, and life insurance
  • Annual subscriptions to Headspace, Ginger.io, and One Medical
  • $120 a month to spend on tickets to live events
  • Annual subscription to Spotify, Apple Music, or Amazon music

The salary range for this role is $130,000-$220,000. Actual compensation packages within that range are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years and depth of experience, certifications, and specific location.
