DescriptionThe Transportation Solutions division within the Leidos Health & Civil group is seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer who will assist a number of dynamic teams working on internal research projects. Projects are in support of multiple potential customers, most notably, the Federal Aviation Administration.The position requires strong technical skills in order to assist with the implementation, integration, deployment, and sustainment of mission critical systems and internal research and development. Excellent communication, team participation and prioritization skills, as well as the ability to be flexible and responsive in a fast-paced environment are needed. The candidate will also be expected to work effectively with other team members.Candidate must be able to obtain an SF-85P Public Trust clearance from the FAA customer. Due to contract requirements, the position requires U.S. Citizenship.Primary Responsibilities• Support the deployment of services via a DevOps pipeline within a Windows and Linux-based multi-tenant environment.• Develop, update, and maintain GitLab CI/CD pipeline code• Configure, troubleshoot, and deploy docker containers• Review code within Git and extract/create engineering documentation as needed• Support Developer deployments• Provide technical guidance for all capabilities/microservices• Support Developer testing in the environment• Create and Maintain DevOps documentation• Conduct Security remediation as needed from scansBasic Qualifications• Bachelor’s Degree in related engineering discipline with 4+ year of related experience or a Masters with 2+ years of experience.• Education or experience using the following technologies: AWS, Terraform, Ansible, Linux, Bash scripting, Containers, Container Orchestration• Should have Agile experience/knowledge of key agile techniquesPreferred Qualifications• Terragrunt experience• Kubernetes experienceOriginal Posting Date:2024-08-28While subject to change based on business needs, Leidos reasonably anticipates that this job requisition will remain open for at least 3 days with an anticipated close date of no earlier than 3 days after the original posting date as listed above.Pay Range:Pay Range $81,250.00 - $146,875.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
