Solutions Engineer

How You Support Our Growth

As a Solutions Engineer, you will play a critical role in driving the technical aspects of Level Access's sales processes. Reporting to our Head of Solutions Engineering, you will act as a technical expert on our products and how they integrate with client systems and processes. Your contributions will directly fuel the success of our product, marketing, and sales efforts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Communicates Effectively: Clearly convey technical concepts in one-on-one and small group settings. Listen actively to clients and team members. Adjust communication style to suit different audiences. Share timely information within the team.
  • Customer Focus: Understand and address customer needs. Deliver solutions that meet customer expectations. Build and maintain positive customer relationships through reliable support.
  • Situational Adaptability: Adjust actions based on immediate feedback and changing conditions. Adapt your approach in daily interactions to meet different situational demands.
  • Drives Results: Consistently meet goals and deadlines. Overcome routine obstacles to achieve objectives. Maintain focus on completing tasks efficiently.
  • Collaborates: Work collaboratively within the team to achieve shared objectives. Share knowledge and resources. Build rapport with peers and contribute to a supportive team environment.
  • Action Oriented: Take initiative to address immediate challenges without unnecessary planning. Act promptly to resolve issues. Demonstrate a willingness to step up when needed.
  • Connect directly with customers to guide discovery conversations and deeply understand their needs, goals, and pain points.
  • Serve as a product evangelist and subject matter expert to our technical community.
  • Solicit and log client feedback, collaborating with product management to steer our technical roadmap appropriately.

Required Qualifications

  • 2+ years' experience in a technical solutions/sales role or equivalent.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD practices and processes.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Natural curiosity and inquisitiveness; ability to ask the right questions during client discovery phases.
  • Comfort with managing multiple projects and collaborating with various team members concurrently.
  • Willingness to travel up to 30%.

Desired but Not Required Qualifications

  • Knowledge of digital accessibility and disability inclusion.
  • Understanding of regulations related to digital accessibility (e.g., Section 508, ADA).
  • Familiarity with WCAG 2.1 AA requirements.
  • Understanding of front-end web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript frameworks).
  • Experience with automated testing technologies (Cypress, Webdriver IO, Cucumber).
  • Experience with native mobile application development (iOS or Android).
