Position Summary:
Liberty is seeking an Associate Underwriter to join our Underwriting team in Toronto. The primary focus of this role will be underwriting, marketing, maintaining, and growing an assigned portfolio of middle market Property and Casualty business within the Ontario and Atlantic Region Underwriting team.

Join the dynamic team at Liberty Mutual Canada as an Associate Underwriter in the Property & Casualty division, based in Toronto! In this role, you’ll focus on underwriting, marketing, and growing a diverse portfolio of middle-market business throughout Ontario and the Atlantic region. You’ll bring a desire for elite underwriting skills while gaining knowledge about Liberty’s wide array of commercial insurance products. As you work closely with your assigned book of new and renewal business, you'll conduct thorough risk analyses, negotiate policy terms, and ensure compliance with Liberty’s guidelines. Your knack for relationship management will be key, as you'll be tasked with expanding broker connections and prospecting new clients.
