Position SummaryAs the brand owner of Life Time’s charitable arm, the Marketing Specialist will define the Foundation’s voice as a public 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization inspiring Healthy People, a Healthy Planet, and a Healthy Way of Life. The position will lead the development and coordination of marketing communications strategies to enhance the Foundation’s brand image, with broad goals to increase visibility, awareness, and philanthropic support to the organization. This scope will include guiding strategy and production of communications, marketing, and fundraising initiatives (e.g., Giving Tuesday, Year End Giving Campaign, etc.).The Marketing Specialist will communicate with multiple key stakeholders and audiences, including school district partners and their communities, team members, Life Time members, Life Time Athletic Event athletes, advocates, and the general public about who we are, what we do, and why this work is critical.The Marketing Specialist will work in collaboration with the Foundation team, Board of Directors, Life Time Events team and Life Time, Inc. leadership toward the fulfillment of the Life Time Foundation’s mission.The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the latest marketing trends and techniques, extensive experience developing, leading, and implementing successful brand and marketing strategies to increase mission-driven knowledge and passion, with a clear understanding and passion for youth nutrition and movement. This person will need to shift comfortably between strategic thinking and producing tactics required to achieve outcomes.Job Duties/Responsibilities• Develop and implement marketing plans and strategies to increase awareness of the Foundation’s mission, drive donations and partnerships, and support our programs and events.• Serve as marketing & communications liaison between Life Time Foundation and Life Time Corporate. Collaborates with and manages workflow between internal marketing and shared creative services teams to develop and execute marketing campaigns across various channels, including email, social media, digital advertising, events and PR.• Refresh the Foundation’s voice; tell the story of the Foundation’s impact• Manage all internal and external communications to be in alignment with the Foundation’s vision, mission, values, and goals.• Develop, implement and manage the Foundation’s social media strategy.• Monitor and analyze marketing performance metrics, such as website traffic and conversion rates, to identify areas for improvement and optimize campaigns.• Manage the marketing budget and allocate resources effectively to maximize ROI.Minimum Required Qualifications• Passion for the Life Time Foundation mission to inspire Healthy People, a Healthy Planet, and a Healthy Way of Life• A strong commitment to valuing diversity and contributing to an inclusive and learning environment• Excellent written, oral communication, presentation skills• Excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritize and juggle multiple projects and execute within defined timelines and budgets• Ability to travel 10% of time• Ability to build strong relationships with partners, members and team members• Must have strong computer skills in Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, as well as basic experience in Squarespace, Mailchimp, Adobe CS (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and have great adaptability on new software systems.• Must have intimate working knowledge of Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and YouTube.Education:• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related fieldYears of Experience:• 2-4 years of experienceLicenses / Certifications / Registrations:• n/aPreferred Qualifications:• Interest in nutrition, specifically school and child nutrition, youth movement, as we as healthy youth development, and environmental advocacy to make change for the future.• Fundraising and athletic event experience• Non-profit experience• Proficiency in Google Analytics and other marketing analytics toolsLife Time is a place for everyone.
