Sr. Product Marketing Manager

As a Senior Product Marketing Manager, you will play a key role in the strategy and execution of coordinated go-to-market initiatives for Lightcast’s products and services. This includes market research, competitive analysis, product positioning, messaging, product communications, advocacy, and cross-functional coordination to drive the measurable success of Lightcast's products and services for our customers and partners throughout each product lifecycle.


Major Responsibilities:
  • Market Research: Research target markets, emerging trends, shifts in customer needs, and competitor positioning to inform strategic decision-making. Leverage these insights to arm our teams with market intelligence to maintain our dominant competitive edge. 
  • Product Positioning & Messaging: Craft compelling product positioning and messaging that resonate with target audiences. This includes translating complex technical concepts into simple communications and visuals that reinforce the brand and drive product understanding.
  • Go-to-market: Collaborate with Product Management, Sales, Marketing, and other stakeholders to create and execute go-to-market plans for new product launches and feature enhancements. Set measurable launch objectives, track results against KPIs, and iterate on strategies to optimize product adoption and revenue growth.
  • Enablement Tools: Partner closely with Sales Enablement to deliver compelling tools—pitch decks, solution briefs, competitive battle cards, demos, and FAQs—to equip our Sales and Client Services team.
  • Customer Use Cases: Develop in-depth customer persona profiles, mapping out use cases, value drivers, and buyer journeys to inform opportunities and refine market segmentation. Facilitate customer advocacy and gather feedback to share product enhancements.
  • Demand Generation: Work with internal teams and business units to develop targeted demand generation initiatives. Monitor campaign performance, applying rigorous analytical skills to refine tactics and ensure marketing efforts translate into pipeline growth and revenue impact.


Education and Experience:
  • 10+ years of product marketing experience, preferably in the B2B SaaS or data analytics sector.
  • A bachelor's degree is required; an MBA or advanced degree is strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated success in launching products, building compelling messaging, and driving measurable business outcomes. 
  • Proven track record of shaping and delivering go-to-market strategies that boost product adoption, accelerate pipeline and drive revenue growth. 
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and writing skills, with a strong ability to translate technical concepts into clear and compelling messages for diverse audiences.
  • Expertise in market research, competitive analysis, and customer segmentation.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Understanding the labor market, data analytics, and the needs of educational institutions, enterprises, and government organizations is a big plus.
