As a Proposal Writer, you will work across the organization leveraging firm-wide resources to respond to Requests for Proposals ("RFPs"), Requests for Information (“RFIs”), Security Questionnaires, and ad-hoc queries for prospects, clients, and prospective investors. This role is integral to the business development efforts of Limble and will work closely with various teams to ensure that all responses are compelling, accurate, and completed on a timely basis. You'll know you're crushing your goals when sales reps’ time to contribution is reduced and revenue growth not only continues but accelerates. This is a remote position that will require occasional travel.
How you’ll make an impact:
Project manage the completion of RFPs, including compiling existing language, creating new language as needed, and reviewing documents to ensure high quality, accurate final responses.
Develop a thorough understanding of Limble’s software to facilitate accurate and consistent proposals.
Collaborate with sales, legal, business operations, finance, and product teams to draft and revise standard and customized language as needed.
Review, proofread, and check qualitative and quantitative content for accuracy, including questionnaires and industry databases.
Work cross functionally with internal support departments to obtain data, supporting documentation, and other responsive information.
Implement, update, and manage proposal content in a third-party database, ensuring the integrity and quality of content.
Act as a champion of the RFP process to internal stakeholders, initiating innovative ideas and creative approaches to increase efficiency and further the goals of the RFP process and product initiatives.
What we’re looking for:
3+ years of experience in proposal writing within the SaaS industry.
CMMS and EAM experience a plus.
Experience with formatting, reviewing and proofreading materials for content and grammar.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate clear responses and partner effectively with key stakeholders across the organization.
Ability to work in a collaborative, high-growth startup environment and comfortable with varying levels of ambiguity—which you’ll help eliminate.
Process and detail-oriented, with a focus on qualitative and quantitative accuracy.
