Job Description

This role will be based at our global headquarters in Mountain View, CA. 

This role, due to the team's business needs, requires employees to be physically present in the specified office full-time. This helps to ensure you are best equipped to be successful and have the experience you need to fulfill the responsibilities of the role.

The NAMER Hospitality Programs Manager at LinkedIn is responsible for leading the development and execution of world-class dining and event experiences across NAMER. This role involves managing vendor relationships, overseeing budgets and financial performance, ensuring compliance with food service regulations, and driving operational efficiencies. This person will stay ahead of global food service trends, implement innovative concepts, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate hospitality services into LinkedIn’s broader goals. A key focus is leveraging employee feedback to continuously improve service quality and ensuring adherence to LinkedIn’s high global standards. The role also requires approximately 25% travel to support NAMER offices and initiatives. 

  • Lead the development and continuous improvement of hospitality programs that deliver world-class dining and event experiences in LinkedIn’s NAMER offices. 
  • Stay ahead of food service trends globally and incorporate innovative concepts that align with LinkedIn’s global hospitality standards. 
  • Ensure that supplier performance aligns with contractual obligations, Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and established budgets. 
  • Develop and manage accurate Scopes of Work (SOWs) for supplier(s), across NAMER ensuring all contracts are executed efficiently and effectively. 
  • Support the creation and management of the annual NAMER Hospitality program budget, including accruals, variance, and forecasting reports to track financial performance. 
  • Analyze existing operational processes, identify inefficiencies, and implement improvements to enhance quality, mitigate risks, and stay ahead of industry trends. 
  • Collect and analyze employee feedback to improve food services and dining experiences. 
  • Work closely with Regional and Site Managers, as well as vendor partners, to drive operational excellence. 
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of food service regulations across NAMER, ensuring full compliance with all governmental standards. 
  • Lead efforts to ensure adherence to LinkedIn’s global quality standards and best practices in food service and hospitality. 
  • Collaborate with internal teams (Design & Build, Wellness, Experience, Security, etc.,) to deliver seamless hospitality experiences. 
  • Work with these departments to integrate the food service program into LinkedIn’s broader organizational goals. 
  • Stay informed on cutting-edge food service equipment and technologies that align with operational requirements, sustainability, and financial goals. 
  • Implement state-of-the-art equipment and techniques that elevate food quality and service efficiency. 
  • Develop policies and procedures that support food quality while adhering to the highest industry standards. 
  • Ensure that these policies are in line with LinkedIn’s overall hospitality and wellness initiatives. 
  • Take on special food service and hospitality projects as they arise to support NAMER initiatives. 
  • Travel approximately 25% of the time to support the various offices and initiatives across NAMER. 

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:    

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent experience     
  • 10+ years work experience   
  • 5+ years experience in the hospitality industry  
  • 5+ years leadership experience   

Preferred Qualifications:    

  • Experience creating and maintaining corporate food service operations.   
  • Financial management experience, specifically budget planning, accrual accounting, and reconciliations.   
  • Extensive experience leading partnerships with outsourced service providers and vendors to provide effective solutions.   
  • Food service equipment knowledge, specifically café, coffee bar, and break room, support.    
  • Superior written and oral communications skills, and highly effective at building trust and interpersonal connections.   
  • Demonstrated success influencing at all levels of the organization, and the ability to earn the trust of colleagues and senior management.  
  • Proven ability to develop and execute complex projects on schedule and on budget.   
  • Comfort navigating and leading through ambiguity and change.   
  • Contract understanding and management.  
  • Curious, flexible, creative strategic thinker.   
  • Service leadership and talent development.  
  • Ability to develop and execute complex projects on schedule and budget.    
  • Proficient in digital and technology media.

LinkedIn is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices.

The pay range for this role is $130,000 to $213,000. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor.
