This role can be based in either New York City or Chicago.

We are looking for a Business Lead – Vendor Strategy to join our team in building a scaled global sales and support organization. As part of our Global Business Organization, the operational services team is responsible for establishing, managing and improving our outsourcing teams that contribute to a scaled sales organization.  

  
Responsibilities:  

  • Help develop a world class outsourcing, vendor- and location strategy to ensure we have the right direction and internal organization to reach our goals  
  • Innovate and lead our internal framework and standardisations like benchmarking, risk management, running RFPs, training PMs and stakeholders 
  • Help create and optimize the dashboards and reports around the performance of all vendor teams, across regions, across vendors and across programs 
  • Use their extensive knowledge about LinkedIn’s vendor programs and Microsoft’s best practices to help build vendor standardisations to help scale programs 
  • Execute projects that require coordination within the internal team and vendors to ensure trackers, documentations and processes are updated and followed.  
  • Program manage the extended strategy team placed with our vendor.  

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:  

  • 5+ years in BPO and Managed services industry
  • 3+ years in Strategy & Operations, Scaled Operations, or Vendor Management

Preferred Qualifications:  

  • Experience in independently leading large projects  
  • Certification in project/program management and accolades for delivering large projects  
  • Ability to interact comfortably with executives, clients, outsourcing partner leadership and internal departments of all kinds and shapes  
  • Proficiency in advertising sales and CXM

LinkedIn is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices.

The pay range for this role is $112,000 to  $182,000. Actual compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years & depth of experience, certifications and specific office location. This may differ in other locations due to cost of labor considerations.
