Chief of Staff to CTO

Liquid AI, an MIT spin-off, is a foundation model company headquartered in Boston, Massachusetts. Our mission is to build capable and efficient general-purpose AI systems at every scale.

The Challenge

We're scaling rapidly, and we need a strategic partner to the CTO who can transform organizational complexity into seamless execution and strategic impact.


This is a critical leadership position that will work directly alongside the CTO to drive innovation, alignment, and organizational effectiveness across our technical teams.


Responsibilities


Strategic Alignment and Execution Serve as the CTO's primary enabler, translating high-level technical vision into actionable plans. You'll be responsible for connecting strategic initiatives across technical teams, ensuring alignment between the CTO's vision and organizational execution.


Organizational Performance Management Develop and maintain comprehensive mechanisms that provide real-time insights into:

- Technical team performance

- Project progress and health

- Organizational bottlenecks and friction points

- Strategic initiative tracking


Cross-Functional Leadership Act as a critical bridge between the CTO and multiple organizational functions, including:

- Engineering

- Research

- Product

- GTM

Strategic Project Orchestration 

You'll be the central coordinator who ensures critical technical initiatives move from concept to completion. This involves:

- Developing robust tracking and communication mechanisms

- Proactively identifying and mitigating potential roadblocks

- Ensuring cross-functional alignment and resources

Operational Excellence 

Design and implement organizational systems that enhance:
