The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced broker with expertise in residential, commercial, and asset finance lending to join our Mount Waverley team. As the primary broker at this location, you’ll work alongside a talented team of accountants, supporting their clients with complex financial needs. This role offers a strong mix of residential and commercial lending opportunities, a robust pipeline of leads, and an established client base ready for proactive management and growth.

What You’ll Do

  • Write and manage a mix of residential and commercial loans, with a focus on self-employed and high-net-worth clients.
  • Collaborate with accountants to address their clients' lending needs, including commercial debt, investment loans, and refinancing.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, proactively managing the existing back book.
  • Oversee the full application process, from client engagement to settlement, supported by a dedicated CSM.
  • Drive business development initiatives to grow the brokerage’s presence in Mount Waverley.

Skills & Experience

  • Demonstrated experience in residential and commercial lending (asset finance experience advantageous).
  • Strong commercial acumen, particularly with self-employed clients, trusts, SMSFs, and complex structures.
  • Exceptional relationship-building skills with both clients and professional partners, such as accountants.
  • Proactive in business development and capable of working autonomously within a supportive team.
