The Senior Partner Manager will drive strategic and operational success for Lumin’s digital banking solutions by managing 3rd party partnerships, ensuring revenue growth, and supporting the business in contract negotiations and performance tracking.
This is a remote role that will require 20% travel to support conferences, internal training and development, as well as occasional quarterly based reviews.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Manage a portfolio of 3rd party suppliers, overseeing business performance, cost management, and service-level agreements.
- Drive revenue growth through partner offerings and ensure positive P&L outcomes for 3rd party agreements.
- Lead contract negotiations to secure favorable business terms while delivering compelling solutions for customers.
- Align 3rd party relationships with product management strategies and commercial objectives.
- Identify and develop business cases for new or enhanced partner relationships.
- Monitor the external market to ensure partnerships with top providers.
- Own revenue, gross margin, and contribution margin targets for partner solutions.
- Enhance and assist in partner onboarding processes and cross-functional alignment for implementation strategies.
- Provide ongoing post-launch operational support, tracking performance and reporting insights to leadership.
- Lead the development of new processes, capabilities, and KPIs to optimize integration success.
Where will the role grow in:
- In first 30 days candidate will become familiar our partner categories and with our current processes and procedures and do introductions to key stakeholders that work with and support partnerships
- In first 90 days candidate will begin to independently own the partner relationships assigned
- By the end of year 1 candidate will be the Subject Matter Expert for the assigned partnerships they own, and will be responsible for supporting the success of those partnerships with sales, CxMgrs, product and marketing.

- Proven experience managing 3rd party suppliers to deliver successful business outcomes.
- Strong cross-functional leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams across product, marketing, legal, and sales.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and influencing abilities.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities and interruptions.
- Strong understanding and proactive interest in emerging trends within digital banking, payments, and related ecosystems.
EDUCATION
Bachelor's and/or Master’s degree or equivalent experience.
Preferred 5+ years of experience in financial software partnerships, with substantial expertise in commercial software negotiations. .
