Short-term Consultant - Health Financing and Strategy

Location: U.S. (remote or hybrid setup, depending on project requirements)

Duration: Three months, with an option to extend for an additional three months.

Role Overview

The Health Finance Coalition (HFC) is seeking a consultant to provide strategic and analytical support for a high-profile initiative aimed at scaling the Wolbachia method—a transformative technology to reduce dengue fever transmission. Collaborating with the Clinton Health Access Initiative (CHAI), the consultant will contribute to stakeholder engagement, strategic and investment analysis, and the development of knowledge products that advance innovative financing mechanisms and global adoption of Wolbachia. This role is ideal for a results-driven professional with expertise in health financing strategy, market research, and stakeholder coordination across public and private sectors.




1. Strategic and Market Analysis
  • Conduct analyses of regional health systems and investment landscapes to identify opportunities for scaling Wolbachia.
  • Develop insights into market conditions and trends affecting the adoption of innovative health technologies.
  • Prepare detailed assessments of regional readiness to implement Wolbachia, considering technical, financial, and policy factors.


2. Knowledge Development and Management
  • Support the preparation of high-quality materials, including reports, white papers, and presentations, on global health financing trends and dengue prevention strategies.
  • Collaborate with project leads to synthesize complex findings into actionable recommendations for diverse stakeholders.
  • Maintain a knowledge repository to track key insights, data points, and best practices relevant to the Wolbachia initiative.


3. Stakeholder Engagement
