Job Description: Marlin Steel is looking for a Recruiter to lead recruitment of on-site production positions. The Recruiter is responsible for assisting with full cycle recruiting, including the onboarding and orientation of new hires. The Recruiter’s responsibilities include conducting initial screenings, scheduling interviews, and assisting in making hiring decisions for open roles. Marlin Steel offers full-time employees medical insurance, vacation time, sick time, 401k match, HSA contributions, and tuition reimbursement. This role may require 10-15% travel to our other facilities.

 

Responsibilities

·         Assists with Marlin’s search for top talent for open positions at the facility

·         Recruits active and passive candidates from various resources, including Internet job boards, social media, employee referrals, and job fairs

·         Develops relationships with prospective hires, providing a positive first impression of Marlin Steel

·         Assists location in the hiring process of open positions, including interviewing and screening applicants both over the phone and in person

·         Ensures accurate, professional, and timely candidate communication

·         Works with management and candidate on offer package

·         Follows Marlin Steel practices for the onboarding process

·         Monitors and applies HR recruiting best practices

 

Qualifications

·         3+ years of manufacturing recruiting / HR experience, highly preferred to have experience in the manufacturing field specializing in welders, fabricators, and machine operators

·         Good communication skills

·         Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks

·         Self-motivated

 

Hours: Monday through Friday, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm (full on-site). Salary range: $55,000 to $80,000 dependent on experience and performance
