Hotel Management & Consulting is seeking an experienced Assistant General Manager for our WoodSpring Suites location in Allentown, PA. Our Ideal Candidate: Outgoing. Energetic. Leader. Being an HMC Assistant General Manager: As an Assistant General Manager with HMC, you will partner with the General Manager to achieve a highly productive team capable of exceeding revenue expectations while also exceeding operational and guest service standards.Benefits of working with us:Compensation includes base salary pay plus monthly, quarterly, and yearly bonuses. We have partnered with DailyPay, a voluntary benefit to offer employees access to their pay on their own schedule.Assistant General Manager functions (to include, but not limited to):• Supervisory – Interviewing, hiring, training, disciplinary actions, annual performance evaluations, biweekly timesheet review• Financial – Daily bank deposits, completion of sales and marketing objectives• Guest Relations – Monitoring and following up on guest feedback and concerns, suggest and sell amenities, ensure security needs of guests and property are met• Other – Inventory management, relationship building with vendors and guests, teamworkRequired Qualifications:• 1+ years’ experience in hotel management, including front desk and back of house operations, extended stay preferred• Excellent team building and communication abilities• Strong organizational time management skills and problem-solving skills• Excellent communication skills: oral and written• Personal vehicle requiredPhysical Requirements:• Repetitive climbing of stairs, ladders• Kneeling/squatting, standing for long periods of time• Able to lift, push, and pull up to 20 lbs.Hotel Management and Consulting, Inc., reserves the right to modify, change, or apply this job description in any way the company desires.
