Maximus is looking for a Senior Analytics Engineer to build out our core data models and scale our data infrastructure. This person will be responsible for owning dbt, the Looker backend, and Airbyte ETL.

Responsibilities:
Design, build, and maintain scalable and robust data pipelines to ingest, process, and store large volumes of data from various sources.
Develop and maintain dbt data models
Collaborate with data analysts and business stakeholders to understand their data requirements and deliver actionable insights.
Implement data quality and validation processes to ensure data accuracy and reliability.
Optimize and improve existing data pipelines for performance and scalability.
Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for data pipelines, data models, and analytics solutions.
Assist in the development and maintenance of our data warehouse and data lake infrastructure.
Qualifications:
Minimum 6 years of experience in data analytics, data engineering, or analytics engineering.
Strong proficiency in SQL & experience with GCP or similar cloud data warehouses
Proficiency in dbt & Git for version control and collaborative development
Proficiency in Python programming (nice to have)
Experience with AWS or equivalent cloud services
Excellent communication skills to present complex findings to both technical and non-technical audiences
Track record of delivering data-driven solutions in a professional setting
