Senior Training Specialist

Description & Requirements We are seeking a Senior Training Specialist to join our team supporting our Internal Revenue Service (IRS) client. Position is remote within US. *Position is contingent on contract award. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: - Lead the design, development and evaluation of comprehensive training programs that align with organizational goals. Design and develop training materials in collaboration with clients and subject matter experts. - Collaborate with clients, business partners and subject matter experts to perform needs analysis, develop learning objectives and design deliverables that meet learner and stakeholder needs and organizational quality standards. - Provide guidance and coaching to training team on training strategies and program improvements. - Deliver group training covering a range of technical, operational, and/or management areas. Project Minimum Requirements: - Bachelor's Degree in computer science or related field. - 7+ years of relevant experience required. - With H.S. diploma, an additional 4 years of experience is required. With Associate's degree an additional 2 years of experience is required. - Experience providing guidance and coaching to training specialists. - Experience in developing curriculum. - Experience in delivering group and individual instruction and training covering a range of technical, operational, and/or management areas. - Experience delivering training to remote students using virtual tools like MS Teams. - Experience in developing training aids, including training handbooks, demonstration models, multimedia visual aids, computer tutorials, and reference works. - Experience in developing instructional materials including simulations, step-by-step procedures, and PowerPoint presentations. - Experience in coordinating or performing administrative functions necessary to deliver and documenting training programs. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Additional requirements as per Contract/Client: - Candidates must meet requirements to obtain and maintain an IRS Minimum Background Investigation (MBI) clearance (active IRS Moderate Risk MBI is a plus). - Candidates must be a US Citizen or a Legal Permanent Resident (Green Card status) for 3 years, and be Federal Tax compliant. #techjobs Minimum Requirements - Bachelor's degree in relevant field of study and 7+ years of relevant professional experience required, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Pay Transparency Maximus compensation is based on various factors including but not limited to job location, a candidate's education, training, experience, expected quality and quantity of work, required travel (if any), external market and internal value analysis including seniority and merit systems, as well as internal pay alignment. Annual salary is just one component of Maximus's total compensation package. Other rewards may include short- and long-term incentives as well as program-specific awards. Additionally, Maximus provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and paid time off. Compensation ranges may differ based on contract value but will be commensurate with job duties and relevant work experience.
