The HRPB performs duties in all of the following functional areas: employee relations, training, employee communications and engagement, performance management, recruitment and staffing, law compliance and benefits administration. In this role, you will be asked to drive business results while delivering measurable goals within your site in addition to implementing HR initiatives and programs.Responsibilities:• This position is responsible for developing and implementing HR solutions to meet the needs of the Plant Leadership team and team members across the Mojave site.• The HRBP will foster a collaborative culture, advance key capabilities, and offer guidance on complex HR issues with minimal supervision• Gain a deep understanding of business strategies and implications for the Mojave site• Coach managers on people management skills and contribute to their leadership development• Lead employee engagement activities within the Mojave site and bring best practices from other companies or HR network• Support Managers and Talent Acquisition team in attracting, developing, and retaining a diverse talent pipeline• Drive performance and talent management processes within Mojave site• Partner with Centers of Expertise (COE) to align business programs with HR strategies• Implement function-wide HR programs at Mojave location• Facilitate change management efforts within assigned regions or functions• Ensure managers meet people objectives in alignment with business goals• Execute annual HR plans focusing on team member development and succession planning• Support the HR Shared Services model and collaborate effectively across Supply Chain HRBP network• The HRBP assists in the interpretation and administration of the Human Resources policies, procedures and programs, with an emphasis on safety, employee engagement, quality, productivity, goal attainment, recruitment, and the ongoing development of the workforce• In collaboration with Talent Acquisition, the HRBP develops job descriptions, and works closely with hiring managers to facilitate candidate screening, interviewing and calibration processes• Supports new hire on-boarding processes and ensures timely enrollment in benefit programs and completion of new hire paperwork• Supports maintenance and updates to employee records as well as report generation as needed for site people metrics• Performs applicable employee relations functions to include conflict resolution and investigations as needed• Assists and supports all HR activities / duties as neededQualifications:• 8+ years Human Resources Generalist experience, 2 years minimum in a manufacturing environment required• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Human Resources, or a related field• Must be bilingual in Spanish and English (oral and written)• Knowledge of basic employment law practices to include California state and federal compliance law• Strong change management experience required• The individual in this role will possess effective communication, critical thinking, organizational skills, and high attention to detail• Ability to work flexible hours across two shifts to meet business demands#LI-SZ1McCormick & Company is an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer. This position is also eligible to participate in McCormick’s Incentive Bonus (MIB) Plan.
