Business Systems Administrator

We’re looking for an experienced Business Systems Administrator to join our Business Operations Team.  Reporting to the Business Systems & Analytics Director, you’ll become an expert on our internal business systems, provide day-to-day support, and deliver better processes, efficiencies and innovation to MealSuite team members.  

A day in the life as a Business Systems Administrator:  

  • Implement process improvements, automations, and workflow efficiencies to enhance operational effectiveness through the various business applications utilized by MealSuite:   
    • Continually monitor and assess processes / workflows and identify areas of opportunity  
    • Collaborate with business unit leaders and system owners to develop and implement changes and assess efficacy 
    • Maintain process/workflow documentation   
  • Administer day to day operational function of business systems:  
    • Process team member requests (integrations, reporting, etc.) for Salesforce and other internal systems such as Zendesk  
    • Own user provisioning for Salesforce   
    • Resolve system issues (as able, or work with technical SMEs for more challenging issues)   
  • Conduct regular system audits and upgrades to optimize system functionality, data integrity, and security, both autonomously and in collaboration with other teams (e.g. IT) as necessary.   

In the first six months to a year, you’ll be successful at reaching these milestones: 

  • Understand how MealSuite utilizes our various business systems and how they are integrated. 
  • Confidently provide system troubleshooting and assistance to team members and with other stakeholders/SMEs on workflow and process improvements. 

If the below describe your knowledge, experience and character, this role could be for you:  

  • I have knowledge of Salesforce administration, gained through 3+ years of professional experience with system administration & customization, including security, permissions, deduplications, automations and integrations.  
  • I have worked in a SaaS environment, ideally within a subscription-based business model.
  • I have at least one additional year of experience administering other business systems, such as ZenDesk, Gainsight/PlanHat, Intercom, Hubspot etc.  
  • I ideally have experience with Apex triggers; bonus points if I have exposure to Visualforce.
  • I possess an analytical mindset with a proactive approach to troubleshooting and optimizing workflows. 
  • I have strong attention to detail and have proven experience maintaining data integrity across multiple systems and generating accurate and insightful reports.  
  • I work well autonomously, but understand the importance of effective communication and can comfortably engage with colleagues when needed to align on priorities, share insights, and collaborate on solutions. 
  • I’m willing to occasionally travel and have a valid passport and no travel restrictions that limit my ability to cross the border between Canada and the USA.
  • I thrive in an agile environment that is constantly changing and encourages team members to collectively collaborate and communicate.
