Position Summary
We are seeking a Facebook Operations Coordinator to manage day-to-day operations for several owned and operated Facebook & Instagram accounts.
The ideal candidate for the FB Operations Coordinator position is a passionate viewer of digital media looking to begin a career in programming strategy and audience development, with a particular interest in vertical video platforms. A successful candidate must be a self-starter, detail-oriented, can manage multiple projects thoughtfully, communicate effectively, and ensure deadlines are met.
This role will be functioning in a remote capacity with a Los Angeles based team, and report into the FB Strategy Manager.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day publishing operations of multiple Facebook pages and Instagram accounts, including but not limited to video uploading, optimization, keyword research, and scheduling.
- Operate cross-functionally with creative and production teams to execute on content for distribution on Facebook.
- Review daily performance of content & communicate of performance correction recommendations to FB Strategy Manager.
- Assist the FB Strategy Manager on regular performance reporting and presentation of said reporting to key stakeholders.
- Assist the FB Strategy Manager in developing performance testing plans for video cuts, metadata and similar elements; and lead the implementation of these plans on platform.
- Lead library optimization projects, ensuring back library content is optimized to current channel standards and project timelines are met.
- Manage final quality control checks of all assets.
- Track and communicate platform trends and opportunities to the FB Strategy Manager.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- 2+ years of channel management experience for an established Creator, agency, MCN or similar media publishing company
- Must be proficient in time-management, and written/verbal communication.
- Working knowledge of Meta SEO and optimization best practices
- Experience working with Meta Creator Studio and Business Suite tools
- Proficiency with Google Suites products.
- BA/BS preferred
