MMGY has an immediate position available for a Buyer, Paid Media Investment in our New York, NY office. This is a full time position responsible for managing campaign execution across a portfolio of travel industry accounts. MMGY media team members possess a strong curiosity to learn, are creative and collaborative thinkers to ensure delivery of new media solutions, and must have a drive to deliver maximum and efficient value for our client’s media investments. Knowledge across digital, traditional, social and B2B channels is preferred. MMGY is looking for a collaborative, team player with a strong work ethic and aptitude for learning more about data driven marketing.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Media Activation & Campaign Management
  • Assist media planner on RFP negotiation and own activation of media buys and vendor fulfillment
  • Support planning team on client presentations and assist with ongoing client deliverables
  • Support vendor relationship management, own vendor negotiation and confirmation of media placements
  • Collaborate with internal teams and vendor partners to successfully kick off and execute media campaigns
  • Responsible for owning media budget, placement and delivery
  • Ensure client funds are spent as agreed upon in contracts and media plans
  • Attending vendor meetings to gain and maintain a thorough knowledge of media options, vendor partner innovations and market opportunities.
  • Responsible for vendor management of campaign optimizations and pacing tied to client KPIs
  • Ensure media deliverables are completed and executed to client expectations
  • Ongoing analysis and optimization of media placements to drive results exceeding KPIs
  • Accountable to confirm campaign launches are on time and accurate
  • Provide in-depth insights for client facing reporting monthly
  • Oversee optimization and communication to clients and internal teams
  • Check reporting data for accuracy against media buys 
 
Key Experience & Skills Needed
  • 2 years of experience in media or relevant roles
  • Strong working knowledge of measurement and third-party tracking tools
  • Experience with social platforms and media buying or media campaign management
  • Attention to detail and the ability to work in a team and collaborate with others

 Salary Range for this Role: 50-65k
