Summary:The Showroom & Design Consultant engages with customers in the showroom and helps them with their product selection and design.Work Hours:Monday – Friday 8am-5pm, and alternating Saturdays from 9am-1pm.Compensation: This hourly, non-exempt position pays from $18 to $24 per hour, with overtime compensated at 1.5 times the base rate. New hires usually earn between $45,000 and $60,000 annually, or more, depending on experience, overtime hours, and bonuses.To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to do the following:• Provide flooring and countertop consultation to customers.• Maintaining and assisting with merchandising displays.• Point of contact for sample identification and processing and sample restocking.• Performs shipping and receiving activities for samples, merchandise and displays.• Performs various CSR duties and administrative duties.• Responsible for organization of the showroom environment.• Performs additional duties as required and or requested.Additionally the candidate must meet the following education and experience requirements:• H.S. Diploma or equivalent experience• Excellent sales and negotiation skills.• 3 years customer service experience• Customer centric, organized and must have good time management skills.• Basic math skills.This Role Has The Following Physical Demands• The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
