Oracle HCM Functional Analyst (Core HR)

Job Overview & Responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced Oracle HCM Functional Analyst specializing in Core Human Resources (HR) for our rapidly growing Oracle Software as a Service (SaaS) practice.  You will support the configuration, optimization Oracle Cloud HCM. This role will work closely with HR stakeholders, IT teams, and functional leads to ensure the system is effectively configured to meet business needs while adhering to best practices.  You will configure and maintain the Oracle Cloud Core HR module, ensuring alignment with HR policies, business processes, and compliance requirements.

 

Key responsibilities include:

  • Configure Core HR processes, workforce structures, security roles, Redwood UI, visual builder studio personalizations (VBS), and HR workflows within Oracle Cloud.
  • Collaborate with HR and business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into system configurations.
  • Perform functional unit testing and support System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
  • Troubleshoot issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions.
  • Assist in documenting system configurations, test cases, and process workflows.
  • Identify and implement process improvements, automation opportunities, and system optimizations.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration with other Oracle Cloud HCM modules.

Qualifications

  • Must be a Greencard Holder or US Citizen.
  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, IT, Business, or a related field preferred and/or equivalent experience.
  • 8  years of work experience
  • 3+ years of experience configuring and maintaining Oracle Cloud Core HR.
  • Experience working with Core HR processes, workforce structures, security roles, Redwood UI, visual builder studio personalizations (VBS), and HR workflows within Oracle Cloud.
  • Experience in functional unit testing, system integration testing (SIT), and UAT.
  • Familiarity with Oracle Recruiting Cloud, Journeys, and Oracle ME configurations is beneficial.
  • Ability to analyze complex HR business requirements and translate them into system solutions.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve system issues.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills to work effectively across HR, IT, and functional teams.
