About Natcast:Natcast is a mission-driven organization operating the National Semiconductor Technology Center (NSTC) consortium, established by the CHIPS Act of the U.S. government. Our goal is to extend America's leadership in semiconductor technology, reduce the time and cost of moving from idea to commercialization, and build a semiconductor workforce development ecosystem.Job Summary:We seek a Senior Cybersecurity and Compliance Expert to provide comprehensive legal guidance on national security, cybersecurity, and federal compliance matters. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in cybersecurity, data security, national security-related government contracting, export controls, or other security-related domains.Key Responsibilities:• Develop and implement effective cybersecurity policies and procedures to safeguard sensitive research and ensure compliance with government regulations.• Collaborate with senior management to provide strategic advice on the development of Natcast and NSTC policies related to national security, export controls, cybersecurity, and research security.• Maintain strong working relationships with key government agencies, such as the Department of Commerce.Requirements:• J.D. from an accredited law school• Active bar membership in a U.S. jurisdiction• 7+ years' experience, with significant experience in a relevant legal field, such as cybersecurity, data security, national security-related government contracting, export controls, or other security-related domains• Experience in federal regulatory or administrative law• Excellence in regulatory complianceBenefits:Natcast offers a competitive salary, ranging from $200,000 to $300,000 per annum, depending on experience.
