We are searching for a Director - Enterprise PMO to join our growing team!

The Director will lead and manage large, complex cross-functional projects within our organization, and will also provide some degree of overall corporate oversight and management. This role is critical in ensuring that these projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget while meeting or exceeding business objectives. Must have a strategic mindset, excellent leadership skills, and deep experience in managing large-scale programs across various business functions.

Job Description

What Would You Do? The Specifics.

  • Program Leadership: Leads and oversees the successful execution of major cross-functional projects, ensuring alignment with the company’s​ strategic goals. Provides appropriate degree of overarching corporate program management.​
  • Platform: Establishes standard and foundational processes and tools to leverage for such projects (leveraging tools availablein partnership with IT).)​.
  • Strategic Planning: Develops and implements detailed project plans, including scope, timeline, budget, resource allocation, risk management, and communication strategies​.
  • Leadership Influence: Demonstrates leadership influence to align team efforts​.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborates with senior leadership, business unit managers, and other stakeholders to align project objectives with business needs and ensure active participation and support​.
  • Risk Management: Identifies, assesses, and mitigates risks to project success, implementing contingency plans as needed to address potential​ challenges​.
  • Communication: Maintains regular communication with all stakeholders, providing transparent updates on project status, risks, and issues​.
  • Budget Management: Monitors and controls project budgets, ensuring efficient use of resources and identifying cost-saving opportunities where​ possible​.
  • Change Management: Leads and manages change within projects, including developing and implementing change management strategies to ensure smooth transitions and adoption of new processes or systems​.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identifies and implements best practices for program management, continually seeking opportunities to improve processes,​ challenges​.
  • Ability to help with adoption of enterprise-wide project management processes and tools.

Qualifications

Work Experience

  • 9+ years of experience in program or project management. (Required)
  • 3+ years in a leadership role managing large, cross- functional projects. (Required)

Education

  • Four year college degree or equivalent experience. Business Administration, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field (Required)
  • Master's Degree (Preferred)

Licenses, Certifications, Professional Affiliations

  • Certified Project Management Professional (PMP)-PMI Project Management Professional (Preferred)
  • Certified Scrum Developer (CSD) Scrum Master (Preferred)

Additional Skills

    • Proven track record of delivering large-scale projects on time and within budget (Required)
    • Strong leadership and people management skills (Required)
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and manage stakeholders at all levels (Required)
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities (Required)
    • Experience with project management tools such as MS Projects, ServiceNow PPM, Asana, Jira, or similar (Required)
    • Experience breaking down project into work breakdown structure (Required)
    • Experience with visual diagram tools like Visio, Lucidchart, Creately, Mermaid (Required)
    • Knowledge of Waterfall, Hybrid (Waterfall/Agile), Agile, Lean, or other project management methodologies (Required)
    • Strategic thinker with a proactive approach to problem-solving (Preferred)
    • Experience establishing program/project level governance programs Required
    • Proven ability to work with IT Program and Project Managers on large scale projects (Required)
    • Highly organized with strong attention to detail (Preferred)
    • Adaptable and able to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and able to manage multiple projects and initiatives (Preferred)
