Naval Air Systems Command is hiring: IT CYBERSECURITY SPECIALIST (NETWORK) in Ma

Summary You will serve as an INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY CYBERSECURITY SPECIALIST (NETWORK) in the ADMACS Hardware Branch (BL13100), ALRE Department of NAVAIRWARCENADLKE. Responsibilities You will write information technology (IT) configuration management control policies for authorizing the use of software and hardware. You will oversee the procurement of hardware or software releases to maintain compatibility with current operation. You will interpret cybersecurity policies, guidelines, standards, and regulations to determine their impact on program policies and procedures. You will implement information technology (IT) configuration management to control and track changes made to network devices. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Coordinating ADMACS hardware CM efforts with all other ADMACS functional areas. 2) Using the ALRE Information Systems Hardware project Standard Work Packages (SWPs) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), improve, establish, and implement CM policies. 3) Maintaining and keeping control of the ADMACS's hardware baseline and configuration items (CIs), utilizing an Integrated Data Environment (IDE) using Jira, PTC Windchill and SharePoint. 4)Development and maintenance of ADMACS Hardware Configuration Checklists. 5) Demonstrating technical experience in the development, maintenance, and quality assurance of ALRE Information Systems Hardware Build Procedures. Your experience must reflect skill in the following areas: attention to detail, customer service, oral communication, and problem solving. Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. Education Additional Information This position is covered by the Department of Defense Priority Placement Program. Additional vacancies may be filled by this announcement.
