WHAT YOU’LL BE WORKING ON

The Nitrogen Senior Advisor Sales Representative is responsible for educating, cultivating and closing new investment advisors as customers for the Nitrogen product. We work closely together to make the technology disappear so that our customers can get back to what they’re good at: helping their own clients.

  • You’ll be working with small to medium size advisory firms via telephone and email, following up with them to answer questions, learn about their business and educate them on the capabilities of the product.
  • “Be the closer” - build a relationship with the prospective customer, learn their business objectives, convince them that Nitrogen can help them build their business, and bring them aboard. The typical sales cycle for this role is <20 days.
  • Our world-class Marketing ORG will deliver weekly high intent leads to your pipeline, the goal is to convert them into Qualified Pipeline for your territory. You can expect 70% of your total pipeline to come from marketing inbound leads, and 30% from outbound efforts.
  • Effectively and independently distill and deliver the Nitrogen value proposition, demonstrating Nitrogen SaaS platform via online demos.
  • Develop into an industry expert in identifying customer ‘pain’ & helping to solve customer challenges.
  • Develop a sustained pipeline and close new business at or above quota.
  • Negotiate pricing and contractual terms to close sales.
  • Maintain salesforce.com  to reflect an accurate pipeline and forecast.
  • Minimum of 3 years SaaS solution selling experience in a closing role
  • Adept at value-based selling
  • Experience selling a high volume of single and two license deals  - Bonus points if you have closed deals in the Fintech sector
  • A hunter that thrives on top of funnel activities
  • Disciplined working in a remote, home office setting
  • Strong ability to learn new technology and ramp quickly
  • A strong business aptitude with proven success of net new logo sales in a fast paced environment
  • A self-starter, results driven, motivated and ambitious 
  • Strong and demonstrated written, verbal and presentation skills
  • Work well in a high-energy, fast paced and constantly changing environment
  • Proactive work ethic - we’re not big on bureaucracy; we hold each other accountable and push ourselves to perform

The expected compensation range for this role is a $70k-$80k Salary plus Incentive Compensation.

Lesser experience may result in lower compensation and greater experience may result in greater compensation than the stated range.
