Hydraulic Systems Lifecycle Analyst

Responsibilities

The Hydraulic Systems Lifecycle Analyst Job Duties Include:

  • Provide subject matter expertise support to shipboard personnel, supporting the CEMAT auxiliaries project team providing engineering and technical guidance, material, and training assistance to ship’s force for shipboard equipment and systems for Commander, Naval Aviation Atlantic (CNAL) East Coast CVN aircraft carriers in the Atlantic Fleet.
  • Execute all duties and responsibilities as part of the CEMAT team and other supplemental duties as assigned to support the CNAL CEMAT tasking. 
  • Provide over-the shoulder and On-the-job (OJT) training to ship's force Sailors as required.  
  • Solve a variety of structured problems by applying professional standards and Noblis concepts and methodologies. Have knowledge of a particular area and a general awareness of other areas. Working independently with general instruction, apply intermediate skills to deliver high quality work products and services to support projects.
  • Conduct analysis and make recommendations to support TYCOM Fleet Maintenance & Industrial Management, Systems Engineering, and Quality Assurance (QA)/Quality Control (QC) initiatives.  

 

 

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or an Associate's and 3 years' experience or a High School diploma or equivalent and 6+ years’ experience with either Surface Ship or CVN Aircraft Carrier Hydraulic experience.

 

  • Documented mechanical and auxiliaries’ technical knowledge and expertise in various hydraulic systems and equipment onboard U.S. Navy ships or aircraft carriers.
  • Experience working with and directly supporting U.S. Navy government customers.
  • Candidate must be a US Citizen and have an active Secret Security Clearance.
  • Candidate should be well versed in NAVSEA Standard Items and the Joint Fleet Maintenance Manual (JFMM)
  • Prior naval service and experience onboard Surface navy or aircraft carriers is required

Desired Qualifications

  • Candidate should have excellent communications skills both written and verbal
  • Candidate should have extensive experience and be well versed in all Microsoft Office Suite products.
  • Prior experience working onboard government facilities is desired.

Compensation at Noblis is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the combination of education, certifications, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, internal and external equity, location, clearance level, as well as contract-specific affordability, organizational requirements and applicable employment laws. The projected compensation range for this position is based on full time status. For part time or on-call staff, compensation is proportionately adjusted based on hours worked. While monetary compensation is important, it's just one component of Noblis’ total compensation package.
