Head of Apps Engineering

The Mobile department believes in constant improvement and innovation, so it takes the initiative to refine all products at every stage. We’re actively involved in all phases of development with other teams to obtain the best outcomes – from the simplest UI elements to innovative features. 


Main Responsibilities
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Product, Design, and Marketing, to align engineering goals with company strategy, prioritizing initiatives to ensure team efficiency and business alignment.
  • Technical Oversight: Be involved with technical decisions, ensuring sound architectural choices and use of modern tools and practices.
  • Budgeting and Resource Management: Manage the department's budget, including resource allocation and hiring decisions.
  • Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop engineering managers and directors within the apps engineering team.
  • Project Management: Oversee complex, large-scale projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.
  • Process Improvement: Establish and refine engineering processes to promote efficiency, scalability, and innovation.


Core Requirements
  • Experience:- 10+ years of engineering experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role, managing large teams. Proven track record of leading and scaling engineering teams.
  • Stakeholder management: Ability to identify, understand, and engage with cross-functional teams, ensuring their needs and expectations are met while aligning with organizational goals.
  • Technical Skills: Strong understanding of software development processes, ideally with a background in App development. Experience with agile methodologies and modern tech stacks.
  • Leadership Skills: trong people management skills, including a focus on mentorship, development, and team building. Exceptional communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to think at a high level about product strategy and roadmap alignment with business objectives.

Salary range
  • Starting salary from - 7600 Eur/Gross per month.
