Product Engineer, Mobile (iOS)

OBDeleven is all about making car tech easy and accessible for everyone. For over 10 years, we’re crafting simple yet powerful diagnostic and customization tools for car lovers globally. And we need your help to keep moving forward. 

What you will do as a Product Engineer, Mobile (iOS): 

  • Ship features that users care about. Ship rapidly and iterate 
  • Develop opinions, be able to communicate them in the team, and turn them into features 
  • Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and data team 
  • Understand who our customers are and make sure that you are building for their needs 
  • Create prototypes and test them with users. Run experiments. Be able to use design systems for yourself 
  • Design and maintain modular, scalable codebases for rapid iteration and easy reusability in future experiments 
  • Take ownership of the technical direction of your field within the experimentation team, aligning architecture with team goals for speed and adaptability 
  • Use tools that automate non-product work like infrastructure, integration, deployment, and testing. 

We expect: 

  • 4+ years of experience in native mobile application development (iOS) 
  • Working knowledge of Swift 
  • One or more published mobile applications under your belt 
  • Experience of working in a multi-disciplinary team   
  • Experience with automated testing of mobile applications 
  • Experience in elevating the expertise of other engineers 
  • Fluency in Lithuanian and full proficiency in English are required
  • Must have the ability to work in a hybrid work model, partially from the office (no option for fully remote work) 
  • Familiarity with Android development (Kotlin) is an advantage 
  • Familiarity with backend programming (Nest.js) is an advantage 
  • Experience of contributing to and/or maintaining open-source projects is an advantage
