The Retail Sales Associate plays a key role in providing excellent customer service, assisting with sales, operations, and maintaining store presentation. Reporting directly to the Store Manager and under the supervision of the Store Supervisor, this role focuses on supporting day-to-day operations and helping create a positive shopping experience for customers.
Essential Functions:• Greet and assist customers with product selection, providing knowledgeable and friendly service. • Answer customer questions about wine, spirits, and related products, offering recommendations when appropriate. • Operate the register, process payments, and handle customer transactions efficiently and accurately. • Assist with receiving, stocking, and organizing merchandise, ensuring shelves are well-stocked and displays are attractive.• Ensure the store is clean, organized and safe, including maintaining aisles, stocking areas, and the checkout space.• Support merchandising efforts, helping to set up displays, price tags, and promotional signage as directed by leaders. • Monitor inventory levels on the sales floor, notifying store leaders of low stock or inventory issues.• Assist in executing store promotions and events. • Follow all company policies, including alcohol sales regulations, safety guidelines, and loss prevention protocols.• Support all Omni Hotels & Resorts’ associate engagement and training programs: including Moments of Service and Power of Engagement.• All other reasonable tasks and assignments as requested by the Store Manager, Store Supervisor, or senior leaders.
Qualifications: • High school diploma or equivalent.• Previous retail or customer service experience.• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends. • Must be at least 18 years of age due to alcohol sales requirements.
