The Job
As the Vice President of Commercial Sales, your primary responsibility will be to generate recurring revenue by leading, guiding, and mentoring the Omnidian Commercial Sales team. This will entail setting the Commercial Sales strategy, leading the Sales team to execute against their pipeline, building relationships with our largest prospects and clients, and partnering cross-functionally to ensure great client outcomes. Your seat at the table is a critical one, and we are excited to find the right candidate to shape the future of the Commercial team at Omnidian. We believe that revenue is a team sport, and are looking for someone with the ability and passion to be a strong cross-functional partner.
What You’ll Do- At Omnidian we believe in trust and autonomy. How you create an impact is ultimately up to you. Here is an outline of some of the things you’ll be doing:
Sales Leadership
- Lead the team to Identify and sign new clients within the Commercial Enterprise sector
- Coach, develop, and mentor the Sales team, both individually and as a teamHire and onboard new Sales team members (in collaboration with the People team)
- Lead the Sales team to maintain rigor in CRM hygiene and pipeline management
- Collaborate with Marketing and Product Marketing to evolve target Commercial segments, and to reshape Omnidian’s value proposition
- Engage in rapid cross-team collaboration with Client Success, Product, Operations, and other Senior Leadership to develop expanded scopes that meet market demand
- Build industry relationships to create awareness, loyalty and enthusiasm for Omnidian’s comprehensive Performance Assurance solutions
- Provide revenue and growth forecasts, in partnership with Finance
Executive Leadership
- Collaborate with the Executive leadership team, sharing insights, engaging in productive debate and discussion, and positively challenging ourselves and each other
- Shape the future of the company through strategic quarterly and annual planning, being a conduit of the voice of the customer and the trends in the market to help influence our focus and investments
- Be a champion and steward of the Omnidian core values and culture (within and beyond the Sales and GTM teams)
Strategic Alliance Management
- Develop relationships with our largest prospects and clients, engaging where appropriate with senior leaders in our partner companies
- Facilitate continuous improvement efforts with cross-functional teams in Client Success Product, Operations, Engineering and Finance to deliver exceptional client results
Contract Management
- Support the Sales team with contract negotiations where appropriate and necessary
- Partner with Legal and Finance to create the right frameworks for negotiating, discounting, redlining contracts, etc

- You are organized and able to stay on top of multiple projects, both within your Sales team and across the company
- You form strong relationships with your peers and the Senior leadership team, driven by mutual respect and open honest dialogue
Experience You’ll Need- 5+ years of Executive-level Sales leadership experience working in an Enterprise sales environment, where multiple people are involved in the purchasing decision and there is a solution-based selling approach
- Experience managing a team of full cycle sellers (from prospect through renewal)
Experience That’s a Plus- Understanding of, passion for, or experience in the Solar industry
- Experience leading sellers in the Commercial Real Estate space

$150,000 - $200,000 a year
Midpoint: $175,000
Compensation: Base plus variable commission plan.
